Sarah Rist, the Quality Systems Manager and longest-serving staff member, expresses gratitude for the opportunities and support she’s received over her 32-year tenure. Starting as a cleaner, Sarah progressed through various roles, driven by her passion for eldercare.

“Every day is different; lots of challenges – I do like a challenge and to be able to help residents and staff when they need assistance,” she says.

“Getting to know the staff, residents and their families is lovely. It’s a happy environment to work in. It’s not just a workplace to me, it’s like a family,” Sarah added.

Margaret Mashoko, the Centre Manager, highlights the importance of compassion and teamwork in providing meaningful care. She finds reward in knowing she’s made a positive impact on residents’ lives.
