Aged care training roadshow to China

Aged care training organisations looking to expand into China or build commercial partnerships with Chinese organisations can now apply to join the next trade mission to China.

The “Aged Care Training Capability Roadshow” will showcase Australian aged care training capabilities in Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu in April 2017.

To be eligible to be invited as a “demonstration” role, training organisations need to have successfully delivered aged care/health training programs offshore and/or be able to deliver such courses in Mandarin.

Practical topics and high-level interactive presentation skills are required to successfully engage the audience.

Businesses interested in understanding the aged care training marketing in China are also encouraged to apply.

The Austrade mission is part of a series of strategic government and business initiatives focused on aged care as part of the free trade agreement signed in 2015.

This mission is designed to reinforce and build upon Australia’s growing international reputation in aged care training by:

  • Meeting directly with local government agencies/ buyers/ potential partners to share best practice of Australian training courses
  • Receiving direct feedback from the above stakeholders to assist Australian organisations to tailor their services to better meet the needs of the Chinese market
  • Building collaboration and commercial pathways with Chinese organisations.

The format of the roadshow and shortlist of potential Masterclass presenters will be decided subject to strict vetting criteria, discussions and mutual agreement between Austrade, local partners and participating Australian organisations.

Successful applicants will deliver speeches, host roundtable discussions and participate in networking events over the four-day roadshow from 24-28 April.
