Aveo’s $68m ‘Vista’ building completes third stage of Parkside Carindale retirement community

Construction has finished on the $68 million ‘Vista’ building, marking the third stage of Aveo’s Parkside Carindale, a vertically designed retirement community east of Brisbane.

This development transforms a 38-year-old village of 107 low-set villas into a modern, multi-story community to meet the growing demand from retirees seeking age-appropriate residences. The 10-storey Vista, following the ‘Parkland’ and ‘Sanctuary’ buildings completed in 2019, offers 100 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with over 50% already sold. Parkside Carindale, upon its $280 million, six-stage completion, will comprise 405 apartments and a privately owned 140-bed residential aged care facility.

The development is situated near Westfield Carindale and Bulimba Creek parklands, offering retail, dining, and entertainment options.

Parkside Carindale Sales Manager, Susan Milward, said the first residents have begun moving into their Vista apartments.

“Parkside is well connected to the nearby M1 Motorway and a private exit from the village takes residents safely to the busway opposite with connections across Brisbane. With everything at their fingertips our residents hardly ever need to use their cars,” Ms Milward said.

The development features amenities such as a resort-style pool, gym, restaurant, and cinema.
