The Grange Lifestyle Village, Wagga Wagga

BaptistCare NSW & ACT has today announced an agreement to acquire retirement living village The Grange, adding to what is already a strong presence in the city alongside Watermark Village and residential aged care the Caloola Centre.

Located in Lake Albert, Wagga Wagga, The Grange Lifestyle Village sits on 50 acres and has 159 independent living villas with 13 unique floor plan designs.

BaptistCare will take over the operation of the village in mid-March.

“We’re excited to be welcoming The Grange Lifestyle Village, its residents and employees into the BaptistCare family,” said BaptistCare CEO Charles Moore.

“The Grange Lifestyle Village joins BaptistCare’s comprehensive suite of services in the Riverina region, including our 200 strong team providing aged care at Caloola Centre, home care services, respite care at Towner House (situated within the Caloola Centre), as well as Watermark Village and our HopeStreet caseworker providing support to people living with disadvantage,” said Mr Moore.

As previously reported, BaptistCare recently commenced a $27m re-development of the Caloola Centre as part of its commitment and presence in the Riverina region that goes back 40 years.

“The Grange site also offers surplus land available for future development. We see strong demand in the region for this style of accommodation, and we’ll be looking to bring the next stage of development to market to meet this demand,” added Mr Moore.
