Training provider Team Teach Asia Pacific is looking for an aged care provider to join a pilot program designed to better support aged care residents and staff.
Team Teach is run by Nick Burnett (pictured) who has been a teacher, school principal and since 2004 – coach, trainer, facilitator, consultant, author and presenter to anyone with an interest and passion in supporting learning.
Team Teach provides coaching and training that adopts a person-centred positive behaviour support approach to both understanding behaviour and increasing the wide range of strategies staff have to respond to behaviours of concern.
Team Teach clients include the WA Dept of Education, Autism QLD and the ACT Government.
The successful provider would need to provide a senior leader contact person to liaise with Team Teach, and a minimum of 12 staff to take part in the training who are willing and able to provide feedback on relevance to the sector. There would be a significantly reduced fee to take part in the pilot to help confirm a commitment to the project.
