BESTMED has announced the return of its Beyond the Chart Conference, with the third annual event scheduled for Tuesday, 10 March 2026, in Sydney.

The conference has established itself as a key national forum for leaders across the aged care, home care, retirement living, NDIS, and pharmacy sectors, bringing together clinical, executive, and technology decision-makers to explore innovation in medication management and care technology.

The 2026 theme, Advancing Medication Management for Better Care, will focus on how technology, compliance and collaboration can be leveraged to deliver safer, smarter and more person-centred care. The program will feature a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussions and practical insights from industry leaders, researchers and commercial innovators.

Renowned scientific futurist and technology influencer Dr Catherine Ball will deliver the keynote address, titled Beauty and the Beast: How Emerging Technology and Industry 5.0 Will Allow Us to Be More Human. Dr Ball is widely recognised for her work in robotics, sustainability and diversity advocacy, and is known for challenging organisations to adopt emerging technologies in ways that enhance, rather than replace, human connection.

Program highlights include interactive panels examining the transformation of care models, learnings from the Support at Home program, and insights into dementia care. Attendees will also hear directly from the BESTMED team on the organisation’s vision for its software rollout and upcoming new features, alongside extensive networking opportunities with more than 220 clinical and executive decision-makers from across the care sector.

BESTMED chief executive Phil Offer said the conference continues to grow in influence and impact as the sector navigates increasing complexity and reform.

“Beyond the Chart 2026 is more than a conference, it’s a movement toward smarter, safer care,” Mr Offer said. “We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Catherine Ball and other thought leaders who will challenge us to think differently and leverage new technology to support our customers.”
