A new interactive Dementia Tech Market Map 2025 has been released, offering the most comprehensive snapshot yet of the world’s rapidly expanding dementia technology landscape. Developed by Elli Cares Ltd, the map charts hundreds of products, services, and research initiatives from around the globe that are transforming how dementia is understood, detected, and managed. Elli Cares was joint-winner of the Technology: Consumers category in the 2024 Future of Ageing Awards run by this publication.
The 2025 map highlights innovations from more than 25 countries, spanning early detection, assistive technology, caregiver support, therapeutic tools, and digital health platforms. Each entry links directly to organisations, apps, or research projects focused on improving quality of life for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Among the featured Australian innovations are Dementia Australia’s suite of tools — including A Better Visit, Ask Annie, BrainTrack, CareApp, DementiaConnect, HeartStreet, Liv, NeuronsVR, SOFIHUB, and Talius SmartCare.
Internationally, the map includes global leaders such as Alzheimer’s Disease International, BBC Music Memories, Tovertafel, Combinostics, Milbotix SmartSocks, and The Wayback VR, reflecting how technology is being leveraged to promote early diagnosis, safety, independence, and social engagement.
According to Elli Cares, the purpose of the map is to create a shared space for discovery, education, and collaboration in dementia innovation. It brings together consumer tools, academic research, and emerging startups in one accessible digital resource — helping clinicians, caregivers, and policymakers identify new solutions and potential partnerships.
The Dementia Tech Market Map 2025 is available as a downloadable, clickable PDF via the Elli Cares website, offering direct access to each listed organisation and product.
