Casual research position at a leading not-for-profit aged care organisation.
This casual role in Benetas’ Research team supports a range of research activities and projects relating to aged care. A large part of the role involves conducting telephone, online and/or face-to-face surveys with Benetas clients, residents and/or their relatives. Therefore, the role requires strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact respectfully and sensitively with older people.
Other tasks of this role include assisting with data entry, survey management, simple data analysis and literature reviews. As part of your work, you will be asked to travel to residential facilities and/or individual clients’ homes in the community.

This is a casual role reporting to the Senior Researcher, with hours/days of work to be negotiated each week, based on the needs and priorities of the Research team.
You will have:
Experience in basic research activities (eg data collection, data entry and basic data analysis)
An interest in older people/research into ageing or health care services
Demonstrated ability to interact respectfully and sensitively with older people
High level communication, organisational and administrative skills
A professional and pleasant approach
A safe and supportive work environment
Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia, hold a valid Victorian Driver’s Licence and have a current satisfactory police check.
