Event: Insights from QLD’s successful Home Care Workforce Support Program – Townsville, 23 May

Council on the Ageing, Skills Hubs and Skills Generation

Council on the Ageing, Skills Hubs and Skills Generation invite you to an engaging and informative forum delivering the insights from Queensland’s successful Home Care Workforce Support Program.

If you are an HR professional focused on the care workforce or an organisational leader who understands the impact of the workforce on care service quality, growth and sustainability, this event is for you.

The Home Care Workforce Support Program was designed by the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care to increase the quality and size of the homecare workforce.

After placing over 2,400 people into care roles across QLD over the last 2 years, we have discovered not only who cares but how to harness untapped potential to grow this critical workforce. Our insights can inform any service provider as they position for the changing marketplace and labour market.

Emeritus Professor Julie Byles AO – who led the program’s evaluation – will share data, feedback, results and answer the question – who cares?

11am for 11:30 am start, finished by 2 pm
