Karen Crouch appointed CEO of Feros Care

Feros Care has today announced the appointment of Karen Crouch as CEO, replacing the highly-regarded Jennene Buckley who has led the organisation for more than 20 years.

Ms Crouch has spent the last eight years as Executive Director of Anglicare Southern Queensland (SQ), leading more than 3,000 staff over 60 sites, delivering services across community and residential aged care, disability services, retirement living and other community services in youth, families, mental health and well-being. Anglicare SQ was recently announced as the most trusted brand in aged care.

Prior to Anglicare SQ, Ms Crouch worked for Queensland Health in various roles including as Policy and Practice Lead, Office of the Chief Nurse. With a background in clinical nursing, she has received a number of personal awards and accolades, including being employed as one of the first nurse practitioners in Queensland.

Melissa Simpson (Chief Customer Officer) has been appointed acting CEO until Ms Crouch commences in early September 2021.
