LASA has appointed a new head of policy and advocacy as it continues to rebuild following the merger of its state offices last July.
Dr Brent Davis brings to the organisation strong experience in public policy and accomodation having spent five years as the National Director of Industry Policy at Master Builders Australia. Prior to this he was the research manager of Modelling and Forecasting at the Australian Institute of Criminology.
While LASA has declined to comment further on his appointment or other internal staffing movements, it is understood the association is seeking to ramp up its research capabilities, making Dr Davis’s appointment an important step in its new strategic direction.
