Aged care provider Lifeview has entered the podcast space with the launch of That’s Lifeview, a new series offering an unfiltered glimpse into life inside its residential homes.
The podcast, available in both video and audio formats, puts residents front and centre, sharing their personal stories, life lessons and perspectives in their own words. Rather than focusing on traditional sector messaging, the series aims to highlight the lived experience of older Australians through candid and often humorous conversations.
Hosted by Lifeview’s Executive Manager of Marketing and Communications, Cody Winnell, the podcast is designed to challenge perceptions of aged care by showcasing authentic voices.
“It’s a podcast set in aged care – but really, it’s about people. Their stories, their experiences, and their take on life.”
The first episode features residents Sue, Paul and Lynne from Lifeview’s Willow Wood home, who share a wide-ranging mix of stories—from career reflections and life advice to light-hearted anecdotes, including a kayaking mishap on the Murray River and tips on cooking parsnips.
Lifeview said the podcast is part of a broader effort to engage audiences in a more relatable and human way, offering insight into aged care through the voices of those who live it every day.
