New community care provider announces key appointments

A new executive team has been announced as three of Perth’s well-known not-for-profit community care providers continue their path towards merging into one organisation.

The three Group Heads announced today are:

Head of Finance – Nigel Jones, formerly Chief Financial Officer of Community First International.

Head of Brand and People – Louise Forster, formerly Executive Manager Business Development with Care Options.

Head of Enabling Services role – Megan Enders, an experienced executive and management consultant.

A Head of Customer Operations role is yet to be appointed.

In addition, the former CEOs of the merging entities – Eileen Heath at Community First, Sheilah Cummins at Care Options and Kath Snell at Volunteer Task Force – have made the decision to depart the merging entity to pursue other opportunities.

Dan Minchin, Chief Executive Officer of the amalgamating community care providers, says he is looking forward to working with the newly-appointed team.

“We’re very fortunate to be able to appoint such talented people to lead the new organisation,” he said.

“The changes announced today, more than anything else to date, signal the birth of our new organisation; it’s an exciting time for the whole team, with everyone poised to play an important role in creating a new kind of community organisation.”

“In addition, I’m tremendously grateful for the support that the three outgoing CEOs have provided; Kath, Eileen and Sheilah’s leadership over the past 12 months has been extraordinary and I wish them the very best in their new pursuits.”

The new not-for-profit entity – which will be named in coming months – has over $30m in revenue, 1000 staff and volunteers and a client base of 10,000 people in Western Australia.
