Acredia Care – the innovative technology company behind the fully integrated software solution for aged care, which includes the eNRMC-compliant product Rx, has announced a special offer to help providers manage their serious incident responses and to remove manual data copying between medication management and clinical systems.

Providers who haven’t yet made the transition to an electronic medication management system will be pleased to hear that a government grant is still open to help with costs associated with the purchase of software, hardware and training. The current round 1 grant is open until March 30, 2023, with funding allocations of between $7,000 and $22,000 based on eligibility – reducing in rounds 2 and 3.

This means all residential aged care services, prescribers and pharmacies in Australia can now use Acredia Care for PBS medication chart prescribing, dispensing and administration and a paper copy of the prescription is not required.
There are three rounds of funding between July 2022 and December 2024, related to the adoption of the conformant eNRMC products in residential aged care services.
