Canberra-based not-for-profit aged care and retirement living provider, Goodwin Aged Care Services has appointed Stephen Holmes as Chief Executive Officer, replacing Sue Levy who departed earlier in the year.
Homes joined the not-for-profit in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer, leading the organisation on corporate strategy and reform relating to the Aged Care Royal Commission.
Goodwin has expanded in recent years from its Canberra base with the acquisition of The Manor at Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast.
A statement from the Goodwin Board of Directors and Chair Liesel Wett signalled further growth in the provision of additional services and accommodation to Canberra and the region’s ageing population.
‘The future for Goodwin is especially bright and planned investments in our staff, facilities and business systems will continue to ensure fantastic service for clients and residents in the years ahead.
With Steve leading the organisation we have full confidence in the next phase of the development and care delivery. Steve’s experience will assist Goodwin in building on its long history of innovation and provision of services’.
