The annual Future of Ageing Awards is back, celebrating its fifth year of recognising aged care providers, industry suppliers, and individuals who drive positive changes to improve the lives of the elderly in our communities.
This year, the awards are expanding and inviting entries from aged care providers, suppliers, and individuals delivering aged care services throughout Australia and New Zealand.
With 16 categories covering all areas of aged care, including Property & Design, Community Engagement, Emerging Leader, Sustainability, Dementia Care, and Technology, the awards are designed to recognise the best and brightest in the aged care industry.
Inside Ageing’s ability to share stories is a significant part of the awards, inspiring positive change and recognising achievements across the sector, which are often overlooked. This year, the awards will extend their support for the winners and highly commended, including filmed interviews with the winners in addition to written profiles and in some cases involvement in a webinar. The Future of Ageing Awards has also made some other changes this year, including the addition of new judges with expertise in service delivery, sustainability, consumer experience, and innovation – complementing the existing panel of experts.
