It feels as if 2023 is going to be the year of AI, and it may very well be the year that sees some real change in the aged care sector with respect to innovation, technology and new ways of doing things. ‘It feels as if 2023 is going to be the year of AI, and it may very well be the year that sees some real change in the aged care sector with respect to innovation, technology and new ways of doing things.

The people behind start-ups are by definition risk takers, innovative and increasingly aimed at delivering a positive impact through their offering, which also makes for a good story or in this case a discussion. Join the conversation and register today…

The webinar will feature entrepreneurs who have been delivering solutions in the aged care sector for at least two years, which we think gets them past the ‘toe in the water’ stage.

The session is designed to offer a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing start-ups in the space. The speakers include:

The startup scene is doing it tough – startup valuations dropped by an average of 29% in 2022, and funding was down more than $10 billion compared to the year before, according to the latest State of Australian Startup Funding report, which surveyed over 500 Australian founders and startup financiers.

On the upside – the same report also reported that 2022 was the second-biggest year of funding in Australia to date…

The webinar will cover topics such as the role of aged care providers in trialling and investing in solutions, tips for new suppliers to the sector, the potential of AI and technology in the aged care sector, and the state of the start-up scene related to aged care. The session will also offer advice for businesses entering the space and provide insights into attracting investment – both in Australia and globally.

This webinar is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs, investors and stakeholders in the aged care sector to hear from those driving innovation and change in the industry, and to learn about the challenges and opportunities facing start-ups.

The session will be live, so you can ask questions on the day or put them forward when you register. If you can’t make it still register and we will send you a link to the video that will be published on Inside Ageing after the event…
