In this webinar, we speak with Anna Millicer, founder of the Home Care HQ newsletter – awarded highly commended in the 2022 Future of Ageing Awards for Consumer Experience.
Home Care HQ is Australia’s first monthly newsletter subscription service for home care providers to engage directly with their consumers and carers.
The newsletter is designed to be easily readable for older people and covers a wide range of topics of relevance and interest, including health and wellbeing, common medical conditions, aged care quality standards, government updates, and technological advances. The service was developed in response to feedback from consumers and carers who want more engagement and communication from their home care providers, as well as consultation with providers who struggle to find suitable content for their own newsletters.
We will be asking Anna about how the concept came about and the key issues and problems the newsletter aims to address, including its response to the Aged Care Quality Standards, sector performance data, consumer complaints and the desire for consumers to be more informed.
