Q1. What was your highlight/s for 2023?
A greater commitment by the Federal Government to support the aged care sector through funding and workforce reforms and the development of the Aged Care Taskforce to seriously examine the financial sustainability of the sector.
Our Farrer (ACT) retirement village has been selected as a national finalist in the Best Retirement Living development category of the National Retirement Living Awards.
Successful acquisition of our first residential care facility in NSW.
Q2. What are you most looking forward to in 2024?
Continuation of the work started in 2023 and tangible outcomes are being implemented by the government from the Aged Care Taskforce recommendations.
Q3. What books will you be reading over the summer holiday break?
Walter Isaacson’s biography of Elon Musk (to get inside his head).
