Bret Duckers

Bret Duckers is a co-founder of Insights42 and now serves as a Partner at FicusBridge following the December 2024 merger. His unique journey in aged care began in investment banking with Rothschild in London and Sydney, before he established the Capital Management Practice at Mirus Australia in 2013. In 2015, Bret founded Encore Care, where as CEO/CFO he successfully led the development and operations of a 468-bed portfolio across three facilities in Cairns, which was later acquired by InfiniteCare in 2018. With a background bridging financial expertise and hands-on aged care operations, Bret brings invaluable insight into the challenges facing providers in today's complex regulatory environment. His experience spans capital raising, operational management, and strategic planning - particularly crucial as the sector navigates funding reforms and increasing care requirements. At FicusBridge, Bret focuses on helping providers tackle critical challenges in staffing optimisation, governance, and financial sustainability, drawing on his comprehensive understanding of both the operational and financial aspects of aged care delivery.
