With less than six weeks remaining before the 1 July rollout of the new Support at Home program, aged care providers across the country are racing to finalise price lists, reset Home Care Package (HCP) client budgets, and prepare their systems for compliance.
To help providers navigate the transition, consultancy group Enkindle has launched a new tool: the SaH Budget & Client Contribution Calculator. This practical resource is designed to support the complex task of budget resets, helping providers align with incoming funding and contribution rules under Support at Home.
“We’re pleased to launch our Support at Home Individual Budget Tool & Client Contribution Calculator, developed specifically for Support at Home HQ subscribers,” an Enkindle spokesperson said. “This tool has been designed to assist Home Care Package providers in resetting client budgets ahead of 1 July 2025, and can be used until your Home Care IT systems are updated to support the new requirements.”
The Excel tool is fully editable, so finance teams can tailor rates and formats to suit their organisation. To access the tool, example file, and user instructions: log in to the HQ platform, go to the Knowledge Hub, and search for “SaH Budget Tool”.
The calculator is part of Enkindle’s broader Support at Home HQ subscription, designed to guide providers through reform implementation.
