Independent aged care provider Heritage Care is adding another to their portfolio of 10 aged care homes, with a completely renovated facility in the suburb of Northcote in Melbourne’s inner north.
The redevelopment of the 75-bed facility will create over 80 new direct care staff roles and a further 100 home services support staff positions soon to be hired.
Heritage Northcote aims to offer a premium choice for aged care services in the inner north community and foster strong relationships with its neighbours including TimeOut Educare Westgarth child care centre and nearby Westgarth Primary School.
Heritage Care has spent the last four months working to give the home a complete renovation to a light-filled home that feels welcoming and inclusive with features like a dedicated wellbeing room, on-site hair and beauty salon and landscaped outdoor spaces.
Residents will benefit from being close to the best of Northcote restaurants, cafes, shops, art, entertainment and the historic Westgarth Cinema.
Mayor of Darebin City Council, Cr Lina Messina will be attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, July 24 ahead of the grand opening on July 25.
