A new Australian-developed care management platform, imploy healthcare, has entered beta testing with its first aged care provider, promising to streamline workforce management and compliance through the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
Developed over two years by a team of three core founders, imploy is now being piloted by aged care provider My Companionship, with an invitation for others to join the testing phase. Early feedback from the trial has been positive, particularly around features designed to improve notetaking and risk management for frontline staff.
“Since adopting imploy Healthcare, our business has become much more efficient. The platform’s AI-driven risk identification system helps us stay proactive by flagging potential issues early, while the streamlined rostering process saves us valuable time. It’s a real asset, allowing us to focus more on delivering quality services to our clients.”

A standout feature is imploy’s AI-powered shift notetaking tool, which helps staff by cleaning up written notes for spelling and grammar, invaluable for carers with English as a second language. The system doesn’t provide clinical recommendations but generates risk ratings for each shift based on the content of notes, offering shift managers an at-a-glance summary of potential issues. The tool categorises notes from low to high risk (0–10), with examples like “client had breakfast” rated 0 (no risk).

imploy also includes AI-supported rostering, recommending the most suitable staff member for a shift based on their location and availability. While the system doesn’t track workers in real-time, it logs check-in locations to ensure compliance and support accurate travel claims tracking – a feature the team says is unique in the market.
The platform is currently compliant with My Aged Care APIs, with ISO27001 certification underway. The team is awaiting NDIS ISO approval to expand to more providers.
The beta is expected to run for another 3 or 4 months and is open to expressions of interest from home care and NDIS providers looking to modernise operations.
