About the presenters
- Allyson Warrington became CEO of Community Based Support, a Tasmanian aged care and disability provider, in December 2019. Previously, she led General Practice Training Tasmania for seven years, focusing on GP training and workforce planning. Her early career emphasised member service and professional development. With over 25 years of board experience, Allyson has held roles including Director of Primary Health Tasmania, Chair of Cancer Council Tasmania, and nine years on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Currently, she serves as Director of the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association, Chair of the Tasmanian Pharmacy Authority, and member of the Commonwealth’s Independent Communications Committee.
