A new collaboration between mobility provider KINTO and charity organisation Gather My Crew is set to improve access to timely, practical care and flexible transport for Australians experiencing hardship.

The partnership brings together two national, digital-first organisations dedicated to making care more coordinated and accessible. KINTO, which offers on-demand Toyota vehicle hire through the national dealer network, will now support Gather My Crew, a free app that helps Australians organise informal care from friends and family during tough times.

Gather My Crew has already supported over 75,000 Australians, coordinating more than 350,000 hours of care since its launch. The app empowers people to request and receive practical support, including meals, transport, and childcare by connecting them with their support networks in a structured, user-friendly way.

Jacob Littlepage, Head of KINTO, said the collaboration reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting Australian communities through innovation and accessibility. “This partnership allows us to explore new ways of providing practical, flexible transport solutions to informal carers and those they support,” he said. “It’s about offering more freedom and convenience when people need it most.”

Gather My Crew CEO Dr Susan Palmer welcomed the partnership, highlighting the shared values that underpin the collaboration.

“We’re thrilled to be working with KINTO who understands the power of community and the importance of delivering help in the moments that matter.”

With both organisations committed to leveraging technology for social good, the collaboration is expected to help drive awareness, reduce barriers to care, and enhance the everyday lives of Australians facing health or personal crises.
