The Royal Australian Air Force Association of Western Australia (RAAFA WA) has announced its acquisition of Perth Care and Companion Company (PCCC), a leading local care provider. This move is part of the association’s mission to extend high-quality care services to vulnerable individuals across Western Australia.
Founded in 2019, PCCC has built a strong reputation in Perth for its comprehensive long-day, overnight, and live-in care services, supporting vulnerable community members. With over 130 dedicated staff, PCCC serves more than 2,000 clients across the Perth metropolitan area.
Under the acquisition, PCCC’s offerings will integrate into RAAFA’s “Connect” division, a specialised in-home support service focusing on Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Veterans Home Care (VHC) clients, along with private care services. This expansion bolsters RAAFA’s existing portfolio, which includes aged care, retirement living, veteran services, and in-home support.
RAAFA CEO Michelle Fyfe highlighted the shared commitment to excellence between RAAFA and PCCC as a key driver of the acquisition.
“PCCC and RAAFA are a natural union built on a common purpose — delivering excellence in care. Together, we will provide a holistic, industry-leading care model serving the most vulnerable in our society, particularly Australia’s growing aging population,” Fyfe said. “This partnership will increase accessibility to essential care services for Australians in need.”
The acquisition comes as PCCC celebrates five years in business, founded by former nurses Julie Arnould and Carole Bain. While Bain has recently retired, Arnould will continue in a leadership role within RAAFA, overseeing the PCCC operations as they move forward under the RAAFA banner.
PCCC’s services include welcome home care, companionship, on-demand care, sleepover support, and live-in care, which will now expand in reach as part of the RAAFA network, supporting RAAFA’s goal of enhancing quality care for all Australians.
