Willed secures $3m investment to accelerate growth

Willed, Australia’s innovative online platform for will-writing and end-of-life planning, has announced a strategic $3 million investment from media company Seven West Media (ASX: SWM). This partnership is designed to boost Willed’s growth and brand awareness over the next 12 to 24 months.

The investment, with an option for a further $3 million, is expected to enable Willed to address the critical gap in the market, where over 50% of Australian adults lack valid wills or funeral plans. By leveraging Seven’s media reach, which engages 19 million Australians monthly, Willed aims to become the country’s top end-of-life planning service.

Alex Beer, Head of Ventures at Seven West Media, highlights the potential of Willed, noting its rapid growth and ability to serve customers with a full range of end-of-life services.

Since its launch in 2020, Willed has helped over 100,000 Australians create legally valid wills and expanded its offerings to include probate and funeral planning services.
