Commenting on her new role, Dr Azam shared, “I’m thrilled to join Altura Learning at this pivotal time for the aged care sector. The ongoing reforms present challenges and opportunities, and I’m excited to lead our efforts in adapting to the new framework.

As a physician, my passion for evidence-based healthcare finds its ideal application here, especially in the context of caring for older adults who often face complex health challenges. Altura’s innovative approach of combining evidence-based, real-world practice guidance with video demonstrations will be key in preparing the workforce for these changes.”

In this new role, Dr Azam will lead and mentor Altura’s team of Nurse Educators, represent the company at industry events, support commercial production efforts, and drive continuous improvement within the education team.

Altura Learning, a member of the Bolton Clarke Group, has been a leader in providing video-based training for over two decades, offering courses on Residential Care, Home Care, Dementia Care, and HR Management to more than 150,000 learners worldwide.
