Anglicare Southern Queensland unveils new brand

Anglicare Southern Queensland has today launched a refreshed brand identity, signalling a new era for the organisation as it continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of its clients and the broader community.

Following a comprehensive review of its services in March 2023, Anglicare has undertaken a transformation aimed at aligning its public image with its modern-day purpose, while staying grounded in its 150-year history of providing compassionate, client-centred care.

Chief Client Officer Chloe Henry said the refreshed branding reflects Anglicare’s commitment to remaining a trusted provider of care while embracing the challenges and opportunities ahead, particularly in areas such as aged care reforms and the growing demand for children, youth, and family services.

“As we continue to grow and transform, it is essential to update our brand to reflect who we are today, while staying connected to the values that have shaped us since our inception in 1870.”

The refreshed brand includes a new logo, updated colours, and a more unified approach to presenting its services across Queensland. A new website will bring all services under one digital umbrella, while new uniforms, vehicle branding, and signage will roll out across the organisation in the coming months.

“We’ve worked hard to ensure that our refreshed brand reflects not only our ongoing commitment to those we serve but also our ambitions for the future,” added Ms Henry. “It’s about evolving with the times while staying true to the values that have always defined us.”

A standout feature of the brand refresh is the inclusion of a specially commissioned artwork by Aunty Denise Proud, a proud Aboriginal woman from Cherbourg and an internationally recognised artist, educator and author. Titled Threads Through Time, the artwork symbolises the journey of Anglicare and its deepening connection with First Nations communities.

“The artwork is very special to us,” Ms Henry said. “Given our Reconciliation Action Plan and the important work we continue to do with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, it was essential for us that First Nations artwork be part of our refreshed identity. We’re incredibly grateful to Aunty Denise for creating such a meaningful piece.” Editor: The video interview shares some of Aunty Denise Proud’s story as both an educator and an important figure in Australia’s history.

The brand refresh will be officially launched today under the new tagline, Anglicare. Today.
