This morning, over 200 individuals participated in the 2024 Huskisson Memory Walk & Jog, set against the picturesque backdrop of Jervis Bay on the NSW South Coast.
With its largest season yet, the Dementia Australia initiative has expanded to encompass multiple events nationwide, offering participants a shared experience in support of dementia care and support.
The program is Dementia Australia’s largest fundraising event, aiming to raise over $2 million and attract over 12,000 participants, with five new locations added for 2024.
Memory Walk & Jog helps provide vital support, funding services, education, and resources for those living with dementia. Open to all ages and abilities, the events offer a 3km or 6km course that can be walked or run either as an individual or as part of a team.
