Monique Reynolds has been appointed as the new CEO of Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT (SCC), following a comprehensive search and competitive recruitment process that attracted over 100 candidates.
Ms Reynolds served as the interim CEO for the past three months and as a Non-Executive Director up until September of this year.
In a statement, Lawrence Hallinan, Chair of Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT), recognised Ms Reynolds for her superior skills, experience, and positive impact on SCC’s mood and performance during her interim tenure. He emphasised her commitment to the organisation’s HEART values and high-quality person-centred care.
Ms Reynolds has more than 25 years of experience leading and managing a range of teams across sales, marketing, product development and operations.
“It is an honour to be entrusted with the responsibility of engaging with the leaders within SCC to make a future defined by excellence, innovation and our HEART values,” Ms Reynolds said.
Southern Cross Care’s Rachel Askew was the winner of the Emerging Leader category in the 2023 Future of Ageing Awards for her significant contributions as a Diversional Therapy Advisor.
