Wavelink, an IT distributor specialising in cybersecurity and mobility, has announced a new partnership with Acredia, a comprehensive software platform tailored for the aged care sector. Global tech platform Infinigate Group recently announced a strategic investment in Wavelink, giving the group a majority shareholding.

This collaboration allows Wavelink to distribute Acredia’s modular software to its extensive channel network across Australia and New Zealand, aiming to improve care delivery and operational efficiency in aged care facilities.

The centrepiece of this partnership is Acredia’s Care Direct app, designed to integrate seamlessly with mobile devices and streamline care processes. The app enables care workers to quickly access resident profiles and task lists using near-field communication (NFC) technology, ensuring efficient, accurate reporting and improving data consistency. This user-friendly platform requires minimal training and offers features like a simple menu system and intuitive icons, making it accessible to a wide range of users. Inside Ageing recently wrote about the NFC technology being used at Signature Care.

Acredia’s software suite includes modules for quality and risk management, human resources compliance, incident management, and a family mobile app to enhance communication between residents, families, and care providers. This holistic solution enables aged care providers to adapt to evolving industry needs, maintain compliance, and achieve operational excellence.

Ilan Rubin, CEO of Wavelink, said that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving care delivery and operational efficiency in aged care. Dr Charles Chang, CEO of Acredia, sees this collaboration as a milestone that will expand Acredia’s market presence and set new standards in care efficiency.

To support this launch, Wavelink will host a webinar showcasing the benefits of the Acredia platform, demonstrating how it can transform care delivery in aged care settings. This partnership is expected to bring significant benefits to the aged care market, particularly as the sector focuses on enhancing the quality of care for its residents.
