Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) has appointed Ms Veronica Jamison and A/Prof Corey Tutt OAM to its Board.
Ms Jamison, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Shepparton Villages, brings a wealth of experience in aged care, public health, and community services.
In a statement, Ms Jamison highlighted the opportunity to represent the voice of aged care providers and contribute to innovation within the sector.
A/Prof Corey Tutt OAM, a pioneering Indigenous STEM advocate and the CEO of DeadlyScience, brings his passion for empowering Indigenous youth through education and connection to country. Corey’s commitment to supporting elders in regional and remote communities aligns with ARIIA’s mission of enhancing aged care across diverse demographics.
Kylie Walker, Chair of the ARIIA Board, commented on the combined expertise of the appointees as pivotal in driving innovation within the aged care sector, particularly amidst evolving needs and delivery methods for older Australians’ care.
