Guide to submitting a guest post to Inside Ageing

If you have a view that you would like to share with our readers we invite you to read the below to help ensure your submission hits the mark.

Guest posts should ideally be around 600 words and focus on a single area.  Half of our readers are on mobile phones, so this story length is optimal for this type of viewing.

There is typically no hard deadline, although best to try and time around topical issues or trends.

The key thing to remember is to try not to sell.  Many people fall into the trap of explaining a problem and then introducing the solution that they just happen to be selling. When this is the case we will direct you to our advertising, branding and content marketing options that can be viewed in our updated 2023 media kit – Download it here.

Guest posts and opinion editorials (op-eds) are published here – insideageing.com.au/opinion/

Our readers are providers of aged care, home care, community and disability services and are interested in information that can help them do their jobs better and easier.  It is better to provide content that answers some of their challenges and will build trust and positive sentiment around you as an expert, which is infinitely more powerful than any sales pitch.

Guest posts contain an introductory paragraph about you and your business and are published under your byline with a link to your website, Linkedin and/or Twitter profile.
