Welcome to the second instalment of the Inside Ageing and Catalyst Research aged care study. Through these regular surveys, we aim to shed light on industry leaders’ concerns and explore potential solutions to navigate these challenges.

This study asks for an update on the most important and significant headwinds facing the industry, perceptions on the Department of Health and Aged Care, the impact of the 15% pay rise on staff recruitment and industry willingness to share marketing data.

Our last study highlighted the significant challenges faced by aged care providers, including a staffing crisis, increased compliance costs, and reduced revenue. Staffing shortages were cited as the most pressing concern, with recruitment and retention efforts being intensified.
