Unbreakable Farmer and mecwacare: Empowering Ballan’s community health and wellbeing

mecwacare, a Victorian aged care and disability services provider, is partnering with community health and safety networks to host a free event in Ballan on February 12, 2024, at 5 pm.

Held at the Ballan Mechanics Institute, the event features Warren Davies, known as the ‘Unbreakable Farmer,’ a renowned public speaker on rural mental health.

Davies will address topics such as resilience, determination, leadership, and well-being, aligning with mecwacare’s mission to support older Victorians, people with disabilities, and those facing disadvantage.

Co-sponsored by the Victorian Farmers Federation and the Western Victoria Primary Health Network, the event aims to promote rural Victorians’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

“mecwacare has been and always will be an organisation of people committed to enriching the lives of everyone to whom we provide care”

mecwacare CEO, Anne McCormack.

The event, including a supper provided by the Ballan Country Women’s Association, offers a valuable opportunity for community members to engage and learn. To register, attendees can visit www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1156607, email Louise.Mayall@mecwacare.org.au
